Pricing questions
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. You can start on the Free plan with no card at all, and the 7-day trial of Standard doesn’t require a card up front either — if you don’t add one, it simply reverts to Free when the trial ends.
- How does this compare to a private tutor?
- A private tutor in Australia typically costs $70–$90 an hour, so a single weekly session is $300 or more a month. Standard is $34.95 a month for 20 hours — available any night, across every subject, with the tutor never running out of patience.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. Plans are month-to-month (or annual if you choose) and you can change or cancel from your billing page whenever you like. Cancelling drops the student to the Free plan — no lock-out.
- I have more than one child. What do I pay?
- Pricing is per student. Each child gets their own plan, dashboard, and hours. One child can always stay on the Free plan.
- What counts as an hour?
- Active tutoring time — the minutes a student is actually in a session with the tutor. The first diagnostic session for each subject is free and doesn’t count against your hours.
